Training of Trainers (ToT) program empowers OrphanCare staff and volunteers to become certified speakers on reproductive health for children and youth.

Petaling Jaya, Selangor — OrphanCare Foundation, in collaboration with the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) session aimed at building internal capacity to deliver accurate and youth-friendly reproductive health education.

Held at OrphanCare Foundation Headquarters, the training was attended by OrphanCare staff and volunteers, all of whom are now equipped with the knowledge and facilitation skills to conduct OrphanCare’s Reproductive Health Talks for children and youth across Malaysia.

The ToT program, led by certified LPPKN trainers, covered essential topics such as puberty, consent, body safety, healthy relationships, contraception, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Participants were also trained in presentation techniques, managing sensitive questions, and creating safe spaces for young people to ask and learn freely.

This initiative is part of OrphanCare’s wider mission to prevent unwanted pregnancies, reduce stigma, and ensure that all children and youth — especially those in vulnerable situations — have access to reliable, non-judgmental information about their health and bodies.
