Empowering the Next Generation: OrphanCare Reaches Youth with Reproductive Health Awareness Talks

Share:

Six interactive talks held across Malaysia with various universities and organisations since January 2025 equip children and youth with essential reproductive health knowledge.

Petaling Jaya, Selangor — In its ongoing commitment to the well-being and empowerment of young people, OrphanCare Foundation has conducted six Reproductive Health Talks between January and April 2025, reaching nearly 700 children and youth across Malaysia.

These sessions cover essential topics such as body autonomy, healthy relationships, consent, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and contraception. The initiative aims to promote and help young people make informed, responsible decisions. Led by trained facilitators,  participants were encouraged to engage openly, ask questions, and challenge harmful myths and taboos.

This initiative forms part of OrphanCare’s broader advocacy where its mission is to ensure that all children, regardless of their background, grow up in safe, nurturing environments.
