The grant will support Reproductive Health Talks and deinstitutionalisation efforts, empowering children and strengthening family-based care solutions across Malaysia.

Petaling Jaya, Selangor — OrphanCare Foundation is proud to announce that it has received a generous grant from Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) an initiative under Belanjawan MADANi 2025 to further its mission of protecting vulnerable children and promoting family-based care in Malaysia. The grant will directly fund two core programmes: Reproductive Health Talks for children and youth, and advocacy and support for deinstitutionalisation (DI) — a movement to place children from institutions into loving family environments.
This strategic partnership between OrphanCare and YSD reflects a shared vision: to build a safer, more compassionate society where every child has access to essential knowledge, support, and the right to grow up in a family.
This grant marks a significant milestone in OrphanCare’s journey to create systemic change in child protection and education in Malaysia.
