I joined OrphanCare in September 2016 as a Social Worker. I have a Bachelor of Social Work with Hons from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Before joined OrphanCare, I worked with Job Coach Network Malaysia (JCFM) as a job coach. Job Coaches are the key personnel in Supported Employment. Besides providing individualized support for persons with disabilities, Job Coaches also provide support for employers to create sustainable employment.

As a Social Worker in OrphanCare, my work areas are focus on interviews with client for reintegration/birth mother parenting, develop a client care plan, refer client to community resources/other services monitor, evaluate, record, report and follow up with client’s progress according to measurable goals described in care plan, participate in self-development training and supervision. For me, I like to work in a challenging environment which it involves analytical and critical thinking, creativity and problem solving.
