Datin Paduka Che Asmah bt Ibrahim is the CEO of OrphanCare Foundation since November 2020.
Che Asmah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri (Columbia), USA in 1985 and subsequently pursued her Master of Science in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, Wales, UK in 1996
She is a retired civil servant with 28 years of experience in various environment matters. After retirement, she has been serving on the Board of Directors of Cenviro Sdn Bhd since 2015.She has also served as Vice President (Green Living) from 2015 through 2017 with Malaysian Greentech Cooperation and Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan Kebajikan Negara from November 2018 to March 2020.
To date, she continues to serve society in many ways. Her opinion and insights are consistently referred to on issues relating to managing marginalised groups and women’s empowerment.
