What are the differences in adopting through OrphanCare and adopting through JKM?

There is no difference in the process between adopting from OrphanCare or JKM as both are done legally. But, OrphanCare’s eligibility criteria have been categorised for different types of adoption. On top of that, OrphanCare also provides Potential Adoptive Parents training to help refresh your parenting skills that also gives you a chance to network with other potential adoptive parents. When a potential adoptive parent applies for adoption with us, their application form is also submitted to JKM. That means they may be offered a baby from JKM too. But, if they apply from JKM only, they will only receive an offer from JKM.

Note: when adopting through JKM, adoptive parents MUST renew their adoption application every year
