As a rule, we only do adoptions for Malaysians and those who reside in Malaysia. This is because international adoption requests for a lot of documentation and screening processes.
Furthermore, the potential parent has to follow both countries’ adoption laws if they need to bring the child overseas. We follow the local welfare department law requirements for adopting in Malaysia.
