Grant from Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) under Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) an initiative under Belanjawan MADANI 2025

Year of Funding: 2025

Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD), or the Sime Darby Foundation, is the philanthropic arm of Sime Darby Berhad, SD Guthrie Berhad, and Sime Darby Property Berhad.

Since their founding in 1982, they have expanded their wings from providing scholarships to Malaysia’s most outstanding and deserving individuals, to supporting nature and wildlife conservation, to outreaching and developing initiatives dedicated to uplifting communities on the margin in the country.

About the Partnership

OrphanCare Foundation is honoured to receive a meaningful grant from Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF) an initiative under Belanjawan MADANI 2025, strengthening our mission to protect vulnerable children and champion family-based care across Malaysia.

This support directly fuels two core initiatives:
Reproductive Health Talks for children and young people, and Deinstitutionalisation (DI) efforts that help children transition from institutional care into safe, nurturing family environments.

Our partnership with YSD since 2014 reflects a shared belief that every child deserves knowledge, protection, and the chance to grow up in a loving home. This grant represents an important milestone in advancing long-term, systemic change in child protection and education nationwide.
