On 17 and 18 July, OrphanCare Foundation had the privilege of participating in two major public events — the CSR Malaysia Awards at Berjaya Times Square and the #CloserTogetherCarnival organised by IPG Mediabrands at Wisma LYL. Both occasions provided valuable opportunities to share OrphanCare’s mission with diverse audiences and to spark meaningful conversations about family-based care, adoption, and the prevention of baby abandonment.
At the CSR Malaysia Awards, an event that recognises organisations and individuals committed to corporate social responsibility, OrphanCare was invited to host a booth alongside other changemakers. Visitors were able to learn more about the foundation’s baby hatch programme, adoption services, and advocacy work. Many attendees expressed genuine curiosity, asking how they could contribute or get involved, highlighting the growing public interest in child welfare issues.
The following day, OrphanCare brought its outreach booth to the #CloserTogetherCarnival hosted by IPG Mediabrands. The carnival served as a platform for employees, partners, and the public to engage with non-profit organisations in a relaxed and interactive setting. OrphanCare’s booth drew strong interest, with visitors stopping to ask questions, collect resources, and share personal reflections. Several participants expressed heartfelt support for the foundation’s mission, underscoring the importance of building awareness at community and corporate levels.
Through these outreach activities, OrphanCare strengthened its connection with the public and reinforced its advocacy for every child’s right to grow up in a safe, loving family. The foundation extends its gratitude to CSR Malaysia and IPG Mediabrands for providing the space to engage with the wider community.
