
On Saturday, 27 September 2025, the Advocacy Forum on Reproductive and Social Health Education (PEKERTI) for Parents in Pahang was held at the Main Campus Auditorium, UCYP University, in collaboration with UCYP University, JAKOA, and JPNIN Pahang.
The event was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Abdul Shukur Abdullah, Director General of LPPKN, and attended by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UCYP University, the Director of LPPKN Pahang, and representatives from JAKOA and JPNIN.
The half-day programme featured a series of engaging talks and panel discussions by experts in the fields of reproductive and social health. OrphanCare Foundation’s General Manager, Puan Zakiah A. Rahman, was invited as one of the distinguished panellists, sharing insights from OrphanCare’s experience in supporting family-based care and youth education.
A total of 214 participants took part in the forum, including PETAMA students, Orang Asli diploma students, UCYP staff, as well as members of the Orang Asli community under JAKOA and neighbourhood committees (KRT) under JPNIN.
The programme aimed to enrich participants’ understanding and awareness, providing valuable knowledge that fosters informed and responsible attitudes towards reproductive and social well-being.
