On 12 July, OrphanCare Foundation conducted its second Family-Based Care (FBC) awareness session with the community at PPR Kota Damansara. The programme, attended by more than 10 residents, aimed to deepen understanding of the importance of raising children in safe, nurturing family environments rather than institutions.
The session featured interactive discussions led by OrphanCare’s speaker, who explained how FBC provides children with love, stability, and a sense of belonging. Participants were encouraged to share their perspectives, ask questions, and reflect on the challenges faced by families in their community.

This follow-up visit builds on OrphanCare’s ongoing commitment to the community, reinforcing that family is more than just a place to live — it is the foundation of love, support, and belonging. OrphanCare plans to continue engaging with PPR Kota Damansara and other communities to promote FBC and ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up in a family.
