See Yan is a graduate from City, University of London in B.Sc (Hons) Psychology. She is passionate about the issue of psychosocial inequality behind families sending their children to live in institutions and the life-long mental trauma that arises from it.
As a Social Worker in Deinstitutionalisation (DI) Team, her psychological knowledge guides her in aiding families in the reunification process. With the appropriate psychosocial support and empowerment, See Yan hopes that families can learn to heal and love together to live the life they envisioned for themselves.
