Cherry began her career in the humanitarian field working with refugee populations nine years ago. She realised then she had a passion for activities “involving a good cause” especially work dealing with vulnerable children.
As DI Manager she oversees OrphanCare’s major focus on helping Malaysia move towards a family and community based care system for orphans and underprivileged children. Cherry firmly believes children should live and grow up in a family.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language & Literature from a local international university and a Joint Master’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science from University of Freiburg, Germany and The Latin American School of Social Sciences, Argentina.
She describes herself as “a globetrotter who appreciates fellowship over good food”.
